To mark the recent Summer Solstice, Koon Man Space will host its first biannual Art x Farm Fair. Celebrate the summer season with us by slowing down to inhale some fresh mountain air, taste local snacks, observe nature, and maybe donate a bit of blood to the mosquitos 🤠
The weekend event features stalls showing off local produce, art and photobooks, zines, and nature- and photography-inspired art objects. Throughout the fair will be opportunities to take a deeper look at the environment: photographer-cum-chef Iris Sham cooks up a Chuen Lung-inspired feast; photobook connoisseur Dustin Shum shares his favourite landscape photobooks; arts educator Kiesly Tsang leads a family-friendly pinhole camera workshop; and Paul Ning guides an instant photography village tour.
And if you’re not a village local, don’t worry about the trek—there will be an hourly shuttle bus from Tsuen Wan to Chuen Lung.
