Time: 11:00-18:00

Embark on a complex journey through time and space in Chuen Lung, tracing the entangled trajectories of rural life caught between tradition and modernity. Through the distinct perspectives of artists Benjamin Hao, Mono Tung, and Tse Pak Chai, “Chuen Lung Visual Reseaerch Archive” Open Studio (II) presents a dynamic map of Hong Kong’s rural past, present and future. Spanning themes of reimagining land, documenting the daily lives of villagers in the 1960s, and tracing their spatial mobility between work and leisure through and across the village, the exhibition offers more than a vivid portrayal of rural transformations amid urbanization and modernization. It serves as a critical reflection on how temporal and spatial dimensions shape communities and identities.
