Whispers of Chuen Lung, a cross-media creative project, officially kicks off. We've brought together veteran storyteller Uncle Hung and visual artist Lily Leung for a 3-month artistic practice at Koon Man Space: Experience ➔ Creation ➔ Text ➔ Creation ➔ Image .
Key Highlights of the 3 Project Phases:
Phase 1: Creative Writing Workshops (by Uncle Hung)
Uncle Hung will guide participants through Chuen Lung's natural and community environments, translating on-site sensory journeys into delicate poetry and prose.
Group 1: 8/22 (Sat) & 8/29 (Sat) | 10:00 – 13:00
Group 2: 8/23 (Sun) & 8/30 (Sun) | 10:00 – 13:00
Phase 2: Image Creation Workshops (by Lily Leung)
Lily Leung takes the relay to guide participants in savoring the stories accumulated in Phase 1, assisting everyone in transforming written emotions and atmospheres into photographs to develop a unique visual perspective!

About Uncle Hung
A renowned full-time “storyteller” and poet from Hong Kong. In 1994, he founded “No Hurry Story Workshop” (慢慢走故事坊), since when he has worked as a full-time artisan crafting imagined realities. He once served as a secondary school teacher and education officer for a theatre company. Over several decades, he has moved between schools and community corners, creating works spanning picture books, theatre, story collections, and poetry. In his world, storytelling is not merely about telling, it is also about listening to everyday details and urban transformations during difficult times. Through delicate observations of daily life and dialogue, he turns the weight of living into lines of poetry that are light yet profound.
About Lily Leung
A visual artist and photographer who seamlessly blends imagery and literature. Since 2016, she has devoted herself to full-time artistic creation, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and creative journeys, her work exhibits a distinctive aesthetic marked by poetic sensibility and innocence. In her creative world, the camera is a brush that “writes with light,” and every captured frame resembles delicate lines of poetry, profoundly recording the quiet yet moving moments of life found in history, literature, and everyday experience.
