HKIPF 2020 Satellite Exhibitions – Map Guide
In a time of constant change and social distancing, let us take the opportunity to reconnect through art and reassess our hopes for the city.
While we are now temporarily ‘distancing’ ourselves from the main exhibitions until next year, the Festival 2020 continues with the Satellite Exhibitions Project to encourage people to appreciate art in their everyday surroundings. This specially designed map takes you across the city, locating talents showcased in different districts.
We have put together two routes, pairing the Satellite Exhibition venues with distinctive backdrops of local sights; bringing art spaces together with sites of cultural and historical significance.
The Sham Shui Po walk brings to light the cultural diversity of an often undervalued district, while the Wanchai walk cuts through the district’s bustling facade and into lesser-known spots. Stay off the busy attractions and take a detour through the abundant local stories and memories.
