World Press Photo 2016
Over 150 arresting and compelling images from the World Press Photo competition in display. This year, the competition attracted a total of 82,951 images by 5,775 photographers from 128 countries. The photos take us through the pivotal moments in the past year and are divided into 8 categories, namely Contemporary Issues, Daily Life, General News, Long-term Projects, Nature, People, Sports, and Spot News. The works inspire us to contemplate upon the various humanity issues we face today. “Hope for a New Life” by Australian photographer Warren Richardson was selected by the jury as the World Press Photo of the Year 2015.
