KOI is an investigation on photographs, memories, and husband-wife relationships through a couple’s honeymoon. After the trip, the couple journaled their memories of their photos. Through interlacing their voice-overs and images, a conflict between the couple’s memories of the images emerges — inducing false memories and recreating the trip in a different light. The ‘original’ trip vanishes and the marriage is further strained.
